#549 Super Heavy Indigo Jacquard

The jacquard is such a great weave as it can bring a level of texture to a shirting fabric that you don't often see. We like them on the more subtle side when they are less about designs and more about depth. This shirt stays true to what we love and then dials it way up. A small vertical stitch runs throughout the surface of this fabric. It creates an incredible texture that you can both see and feel. Japan then does two things it's better than anyone at- dye and weight. This one is an inky, saturated blue, and that color comes from true indigo dye. It's beautiful at the start and will age wonderfully over time. The highs on the jacquard weave will start becoming a softer blue first. It will be a work of art that you create every day. Finally a huge 10 ounce weight gives this shirt a true workwear feel.

This shirt is sewn up in our new Rugged style. It's designed to be the perfect style for our heavier, more rustic fabrics we run. It's a bit more casual, without being over the top. This style is set off by two key design cues: a perfectly sized collar without buttons and two clean button closures on rounded chest pockets. These two elements lend the style a more casual look while their clean implementation keeps the shirt versatile. A simpler back yoke replaces the box pleat and locker loop of our Classic style. Intricate stitching tacks down the collar stand. The Rugged style inherits the same core fit block from the updated Classic style. The moment we sewed up some flannels and heavy jacquards in this style we knew it was right.
