Welcome back the Rainbow Neps Indigo Chambray. We searched long and hard for this style at one point and now it's back!
This style uses cotton chambray cloth from one of the finest mills in Japan. Ever since we ran our popular rainbow neps selvedge denim jeans, we've wanted a similar shirting option. It took time to find, but this one is just perfection. It starts with the shade, a deep indigo that tilts slightly to the navy spectrum. It's a great shade with denim or chinos. Next comes the feel. Butter soft is an understatement. This is the type of shirting you can really live in. Finally comes the special part. Woven into the warp are small specks of color - reds, greens, blues, yellows. On this indigo version it's nice and subtle. You can make these irregular dots of color out, but the shirt remains classic. This shirt hits all the right notes and takes a classic style to the next level.
We labor over every construction detail. Extensive single needle stitching is used throughout. All our closures are made from true mother of pearl. A finely folded locker loop sits over a box pleat on the back yoke. The front placket is also pleated, made the right way, using a true two piece construction. The feel is more substantial and the effort higher, but it's the right way. An angular chest pocket completes the front. Our cuffs are double button with rounded corners.
We now offer all our shirts in three fits: slim, classic and tall.
Button downs that are made in the USA using our quality of material and construction are typically priced at $175 to $300. The Gustin model, with your support, lets us do much better.
