Olive Slip On

This Gustin slip on is made of suede from one of the finest tanneries in Tuscany, Italy. To produce suede of this quality, the skins are abraded 4 separate times allowing the artisans to get the thickness precise and the texture super plush. Suede gives this slip on a luxurious feel while the weight is substantial enough to give them sturdiness. The natural texture of the suede gives the surface of the shoe more interest - you just want to touch them. Next comes color - a slightly muted olive green. The skins are dyed in drum rolls twice to create a color that is intense and completely saturated in the skin. A crisp white Margom sole and black elastic on the tongue serve as bits of contrast. The natural calfskin lining peeks out of the inside of the shoe and feels great when you have them on.

Our sneakers are constructed by hand in the Tuscany region of Italy by a group of craftsmen who have been making shoes since 1901. They have perfected their craft to the point where the industry's biggest and best names, including Lanvin, use them for production. All leather is die cut one hide at a time. Single needle stitching is used to construct the uppers. Custom lasting creates the unique Gustin shape. An Italian-made Margom rubber sole is cemented internally and reinforced with 360° stitching to the upper. A calfskin-lined removable footbed is stamped with the Gustin logo. Elasticated gussets provide a snug and comfortable fit. These are time honored techniques taken to the highest level.
