Chore Coat - Oak Waxed Canvas

The Chore Coat pays respect to the long tradition of this style - functional and understated. Our version has an updated, cleanly tailored body with a length that hits in just the right spot, in the middle of your back pockets. It has two full hand pockets on the lower front, each single needle stitched with bar-tacks for added strength. Up top, there is one chest pocket left open. The other chest pocket receives a flap with button closure. Both are also single needle construction. An inside chest pocket lets you tuck away your wallet or phone. Flat felling is used on main seams and all pockets are clean finished.

We then found the perfect materials to bring this updated Chore Coat to life. The outer is a heavy, 14oz waxed canvas. It presents deeply saturated colors with an almost wet appearance. The wax lends the canvas a beautifully rugged, vintage character that starts clean and continues to get better with time. We think of it like a raw denim, clean at the start and becoming unique to you over time. This version has a rich, dark brown base color. To dial up the comfort, warmth and luxury we line the entire interior with a lusciously soft plaid flannel composed of a brown and white palette. This is classic styling done right.
