From time to time we have true surprise hits. Our red selvedge denim has certainly been one of them and the Oxblood2 is a prime example. It's extremely hard to find but we managed to snag what could be a final run as we're told this style is no longer in production.
Gustin jeans made from sanforized raw selvedge denim from one of the finest mills in Japan. We run lots of blue, grey and black denim here at Gustin, but red has always been a scarce item. Very few mills produce it so we love when we get our hands on some. This fabric has a deep red warp with a slight touch of brown to it. A white weft helps it keep a classic denim look and amount of starch gives it a tough feel. At 13.5 ounces this denim is sturdy and built to wear-in wonderfully. A classic red selvedge ID finishes it off. Different, yes, but in this case it's a very good thing.
This is the same style and quality that was sold in boutiques all over the country for $205+.
