A true all-American heavy weight. It's the American Sixteener, our heaviest classic selvedge from Cone Mills. This is likely your last chance to own this denim and as you can clearly see, it ages into a true work of art as you wear it in. Get started on yours now create your own work of denim art.
Note: Some customers may want to consider going up one size in this style due to the weight of the fabric.
This is simply everything you could ask for a in a classic raw selvedge denim. It starts with a big 16.5 ounce weight. Beefy by any standard, and the heaviest from Cone Mills. The starchy finish and serious weight makes for a pair of denim that feels old-school and rugged. The deeply saturated dark indigo shade is slightly brightened by the crisp white weft, the perfect raw denim starting point. You can also pick up nice vertical grain. As these broken in photos show, this fabric represents everything we love about great American selvedge denim. It ages to the perfect medium blue while showing great white contrast detail and grain. It's just sweet. To finish it off, this selvedge has a cool orange selvedge ID. Beefy American denim at its finest and now ultra-rare.
*Note unlike most brands we don't use vanity sizing for our pants. If you're a first time customer we highly recommend checking out our fit guide.
