What we truly appreciate about seersuckers is how the weave has been designed with function in mind and the result goes way beyond that. The weave causes areas of the fabric to pull together. This creates a beautifully textured surface that increases airflow to the skin, keeping you cooler. The depth and feel of this fabric is like no other. The timeless palm prints give the right touch of retro sensibility.
Our short sleeve button-up fits just like the long sleeve. It shares the same beautifully tailored body, not too slim, but fitted. High armholes keep the body lines clean. A very gently scooped bottom hem that works wonderfully, un-tucked or tucked. A no-button collar that’s perfectly sized to sit well.
We labor over every construction detail. Extensive single needle stitching is used throughout. All our closures are made from true mother of pearl. The front placket is also pleated, made the right way, using a true two piece construction. The feel is more substantial and the effort higher, but it's the right way. A rounded chest pocket completes the front.
Button-up shirts that are made in the USA using our quality of material and construction are typically priced much higher. The Gustin model, with your support, lets us do better.

"Not your grandpa's seersucker shirt! My body likes cool fabrics because I move a lot and heat up a lot. This does have pucker in the fabric, but doesn't feel stiff like normal seersucker fabric. This is a light and supple fabric, and very soft to the touch. The palms are unlike the Hawaiian shirt patterns, these look like real palms with many colors. There is depth to the design and fabric. It is cool and light and perfect for traveling. I love it. YooHoo Nippon for making superior fabrics at an affordable cost. WaHoo to Gustin for making this possible!"
