Beautiful fabric is the starting point for any great product and it could not be more true than in the case of our Japan Hand Dyed Selvedge scarves. Working for months with a factory in Japan, we finally found our dream scarf made the old fashioned way.
Before the looming process begins, yarns are hand dyed, giving each strand a deep and rich color. Only the most beautiful and rare dyes are used. True indigo dye is used to get the most inky blues we've seen.
The scarves are loomed using a combination of Supima 60/2 Z twist and 40/2 S twist cotton yarns giving the scarf a special weaving effect and a luxurious feel to the touch. They are light and incredibly gauzy while still having great volume. The edges are finished by hand with a selvedge edge on each side.
A 70" length and 24" width supports a variety of knots and folding options.
