The short version? This denim is a monster. 17 ounces of pure, starchy, deep blue Japanese selvedge denim. This is hands down one of the most radical values we've ever offered . . . consider it our gift to you.
Note: Some customers may want to consider going up one size in this style due to the weight of the fabric.
Gustin jeans made from sanforized raw selvedge denim from one of the finest mills in Japan. Think of this as the Japanese counterpart to our ever popular Heavy American, just even heavier. It has a similar dark indigo shade that's just one level lighter than your standard dark blue. The surface has just a touch of fuzziness to it which adds character. The extra heavy yarn and crisp white weft yield a great brightness and crosshatch grain. In other words, you have the base of great vintage selvedge denim. Now comes the weight. This is big weight denim. The starchiness combined with 17 ounce weight makes this a bomb proof pair of jeans. You'll need to earn this break-in, but you'll be rewarded with years of wear and an amazing result.
*Note unlike most brands we don't use vanity sizing for our pants. If you're a first time customer we highly recommend checking out our fit guide.

"This salt & pepper plaid shirt is **** awesome. Fit, feel, and look are amazing! Best looking shirt I own. My wife gave me “the eye” when I walked into the kitchen wearing it. Thanks for making it!"

"About a year ago, a coworker introduced me to Gustin (he rocks some of your pants to the office on the regular) and I have been watching the releases ever since. About three months ago, I finally backed a campaign. Since then, I have been so happy with all the pieces I have received."
