Brown selvedge is a rare find and always a crowd pleaser. We were excited to find more of this version just for you. It was one of the first brown selvedges we ran at Gustin and still one of the best from Japan.
Gustin jeans made from sanforized raw selvedge denim from one of the finest mills in Japan. The Downtown Brown is a darker brown khaki shade with a subtle hint of rust. It's earthier than the Raw Umber and is close to a traditional chino color, but in denim form. It has a beautifully soft feel for a 14oz weight making it durable enough for kicking through the streets downtown and comfortable from the first wear. It's finished off with a clean red selvedge ID. Lastly, we'll be using tonal stitching on these jeans, about 2 shades lighter than the denim itself.
This is the same style and quality that was sold in boutiques all over the country for $205+.
