There's a good reason why we've only been able to run this selvedge denim one time before -- it's so rare and beautiful that the mill in Japan never has it in stock. We scored a bit more so now's your shot to get in blue denim alternative with a totally different shade.
Gustin jeans made from sanforized raw selvedge denim from one of the finest mills in Japan. In a blue denim alternative we still want all the components to be spot on. Weight, texture and color. The Japan Taupe nails all three. The color is the first thing that jumps out at you. A warp combines a solid brown base with just a touch of green while a crips white weft gives it a classic denim composition. This is a color that you rarely if ever see around. There is really great texture in the yarns, giving this fabric a nice cross-hatch grain and a touch more weft show through. At 14 ounces it's solid selvedge denim that will last. A very cool red/white selvedge ID finishes it off.
This is the same style and quality that was sold in boutiques all over the country for $205+.
