Our latest brown selvedge is here. This one has an intense slubiness and texture that is very rare to find.
Gustin jeans made from sanforized raw selvedge denim from one of the finest mills in Japan. We've been wearing our Loomstates here recently and a strange thing happens. We find ourselves constantly touching the fabric. There is such an incredible slubiness that you just can't resist. It's like you're feeling a incredibly aged piece of wood, where no part of the surface is exactly the same and each offers a slightly different texture. This feel in a fabric is very rare and hard to come by. We can say, the Super Slub Brown is one of these special fabrics. We can't stop touching it. This fabric shares the same high slub texture that gives it a graininess and irregularity that is just awesome. It's not as visible as on the Loomstate, as the surface is saturated, but you feel it, and it should produce some great wear-in. The shade on this fabric is a very brassy shade of brown, slightly brighter than the other browns we've offered. This one is a solid 14.0oz and gets a very cool muted olive colored selvedge ID. If you've been waiting to snag some brown selvedge, or even if you haven't, this one is worth jumping on.
