The Classic was one of the first Japanese selvedge denims we ran back in 2013 and it's still a beauty. As you can see, even with light wear and a wash it takes on a brilliant blue color that just keeps getting better with time.
Gustin jeans made from sanforized raw selvedge denim from one of the finest mills in Japan. We love getting our hands some of the earliest denim we used. The Classic is an example of why we love denim from Japan. It starts with a dark indigo warp on crisp white weft for a timeless look. It has great body at 13.5 ounces and good starch to help you put creases in. It wears in beautifully as you can see. Even after light wear and a rinse, a rich pure blue shade emerges and the white weft brightens the denim up. A cool red/white selvedge ID finishes it off. This is the kind of denim that defines raw selvedge beauty.
This is the same style and quality that was sold in boutiques all over the country for $205+.
