In our never ending hunt for the ultra rare broken twill selvedge, this version is a true winner. A super-saturated indigo surface and old school broken twill weave give you a glimpse into a construction originated by Wrangler in the 60's and now almost impossible to find. Fair warning, this is a limited run.
Gustin jeans made from sanforized raw selvedge denim from one of the finest mills in Japan. Broken twill weave was used by Wrangler in the 60's in an attempt to combat the leg twist you get in left or right hand twills. Granted, we find that twist cool, but if you're searching for this obscure weave, act fast as this is a super limited run. This style starts with an extremely saturated indigo surface. It's almost as dark as a double indigo style and this creates a wonderfully rich block of color for you to start wearing in. The broken twill means you don't see a well defined twill line on either front or back surfaces which give this fabric a different character. At 14 ounces with nice starch, this denim feels very substantial. A bold red ID finishes it off. Meet your new collector denim.
