The Japanese counter part to the Cone Pima Fire, this is only the second truly streaky selvedge denim we've run and it's a beauty.
Gustin jeans made from sanforized raw selvedge denim from one of the finest mills in Japan. It's amazing what yarn character can bring to a fabric. In this case, it brings out one of the most streaky and intense visuals we've every seen. A deep blue warp is contrasted by a crisp white weft. The yarns have long slub to them that brings out an absolutely firery grain to the fabric surface. It's has the same intensity as our very popular Cone Pima fire, while having a more pure indigo shade. The streakiness provides great contrast to the dark blue warp and is sure to yield great fades over time. At 12.5 ounces it's a great mid-weight selvedge that works all year. A classic red ID finishes it off.
This is the same style and quality that was sold in boutiques all over the country for $205+.
