By now you know we love grey selvedge. This is an exceptional example of a grey warp and weft style.
Gustin jeans made from sanforized raw selvedge denim from one of the finest mills in Japan. The most defining characterstic of the Japan GreyXGrey is its grey warp and grey weft. The result is very rich. Instead of the typical white weft brightness, you get more saturation of the grey shade. You can see some weft show through, but it's muted, instead of the brightness you typically get from a pure white weft. What's really stunning is the red selvedge ID is backed by the grey weft adding to the tonal look of this style. We'll be sewing this one up with tonal stitching as well. If you're into grey, this is a sweet addition to your collection.
