Some of our rarest and most artistic denim comes from Italy. Combining a jet black warp with a rich, brick-red weft is a perfect example. This is a limited run of this beautiful fabric.
Gustin jeans made from sanforized raw selvedge denim from one of the finest mills in Italy. Our BlackXAqua was the first time we saw a dark black warp combined with a vibrant weft, in that case blue. This cousin fabric is just as cool. The most defining characteristic of the BlackXRed is its rich, brick red weft. Instead of the typical white weft brightness showing through the saturated black warp, you get a subtle red shadow peeking through. If you decide to cuff them, the bright weft creates a totally unique look. This fabric is very tightly woven but not super starchy even when raw so it has a dense but soft hand feel. A classic red ID finishes the fabric off. We can't wait to see how this one wears in. We'll be doing tonal stitching on this style.
This is the same style and quality that was sold in boutiques all over the country for $205+.
