Extra dark, perfect mid-weight, starchy feel and one of the coolest selvedge ID's we've come across.
Gustin jeans made from sanforized raw selvedge denim from one of the finest mills in Japan. A lot of the denim we put out gives you good insight into what we want to add to our closet. Right now we're on the hunt for a timeless mid-weight and this style jumped to the top of our list. Shade is what starts it off. This one has an incredibly saturated base shade. The warp is an extremely dark blue that almost looks black at the start. Even with a white weft the tight weave means the overall surface is dominated by the rich warp color. 13 ounces may be the perfect all-around weight if you could only choose one. Add a nicely starched surface and you have denim that feels tough. The fabric ages to a stunning medium blue over time so you know that break-in period will be worth it. Finally, a monster thick selvedge ID composed of thin white line and a wide bright red line cap it off.
This is the same style and quality that was sold in boutiques all over the country for $205+.
