The interplay between warp and weft make this Japan left hand twill a must have.
Gustin jeans made from sanforized raw selvedge denim from one of the finest mills in Japan. This fabric starts with a slightly grey-casted indigo warp. Always a good beginning. Where it gets much more interesting is how prominent the white weft is. It really shows through and serves to make the denim much brighter than your average dark indigo selvedge. The result is a really unique overall shade and almost antique look to the fabric. The twill line is very well defined, like you see on many left-hand twills, and it starts out very starchy, which will get you some great creases and wear in over time. At 13.6oz, this one is in the weight sweet spot and it's finished with a pure white selvedge ID. Great look and great value in this go-to denim.
This is the same style and quality that was sold in boutiques all over the country for $205+.
